that is gorgeous. re: your comment at the 'other blog', the McNasties are in a league of their own. you can't compete with them. 🙂 we'll post the 'curd rice' when me make it next. (we don't make it that often, though we love it)

The light was coming from the window behind..it made all the difference.

  4. Purplesque says:

Whew! I feel better already. :)Likewise..we love curd rice, but I haven't made it in a while. Must rectify that soon.

LOL….I did, didn't I. I was thinking the same thing, but ours is a liquor-free household. A girl can still dream..

This is gorgeous! What a shame (?) you don't drink alcohol! My aunt served champagne over hibiscus flowers yesterday – they gave a pink glow to the champagne and they looked pretty.

  9. Purplesque says:

Ooh..champagne over hibiscus! That must have been beautiful.I do drink, but very occasionally, and more for..experiment, I guess, rather than pleasure. A is a staunch teetotaler to the point he won't even try foods with alcohol in them. 🙂

Very handsome presentation! You drank the juice already?

  11. Purplesque says:

Thank you! There was no juice..I ate the apple. 🙂

  13. What a calming photo! I'm falling asleep looking at it.
